Hamish Baker
As Founder of The MinRisk App and co-founder of TEG Risk, Hamish has been directly involved in machine safety engineering services, covering the whole risk management life cycle including:
- Risk assessment
- Concept design
- Machine guarding engineering solutions
- Hazardous substance management and best practice advice
- Explosive areas management and best practice advice
- Detailed specification and scoping
- Machine risk assessment programme design and implementation
- Procurement support
- Project management
- Validation
Hamish developed his expertise through nearly 20 years of experience in safety management and engineering practice. He has had roles as safety, health and environment manager for large multi-site food and chemical companies internationally and in New Zealand, and has taken the time to build his specialist knowledge through several training programmes and qualifications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Technology (Hons) – Massey University
- NEBOSH Diploma (Occupational Health and Safety)
- TÜV SÜD Certified Functional Safety Professional – ID TA13010202 (United Kingdom course)
- Certification in Hazardous and Explosive Area Classification (AS/NZS and UK)

Ross Norgrove
Ross has spent more than 25 years in the manufacturing sector, with broad international engineering management roles. He co-founded TEG (Projects) in 2011 after managing the Goodman Fielder group technical and engineering team for five years, then co-founded TEG Risk with Hamish Baker. Ross’ expertise in machine safety in the food industry throughout Australasia has been crucial in the development of The MinRisk App.
This team provided capital project management and machine safety services to over 20 manufacturing sites. Machine safety has been a priority and specialty for Ross throughout his career, and with TEG he continues to provide professional, world-class machine safety consulting services.

Adam Langley
Adam is The MinRisk App’s Chief Technology Officer. After a long career in software development he brings to the role specific areas of expertise including:
- Mobile Application Architecture
- Developer Operations
Adam has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, both in New Zealand and Europe, spanning healthcare, banking, and insurance.
Having witnessed first-hand, the both positive and negative impacts that software can have – he is conscious of the responsibility that an Independent Software Vendor (such as The MinRisk App) carries to bring their customers the success they desire.
Building information systems relies on a swathe of proficiencies, and these are ever-changing. However, Adam finds particular interest in mobile application architecture, and developer operations.
When his out-of-office light is on, you’ll find Adam enjoying time with his wife and daughter, guitars or motorcycle.

Customer Success Engineer Description
We’re looking for a Customer Success Engineer, could this be you?
The Customer Success Engineer is instrumental to the growth and development of both TEG Risk and The MinRisk App, and will empower both brands to achieve their clearly defined objectives.
We are embracing the growing need to manage our unique customer requirements and generate new opportunities, while simultaneously developing our products and services to incorporate needs of the ever-changing health and safety landscape. Working across both brands, this dynamic role requires an understanding of the safety engineering landscape, and the ability to work with customers in a partnership format. In this growth phase, the Customer Success Engineer role requires industrial knowledge, technical literacy, personability, and a strong customer service focus to build and develop impactful outcomes.
As Customer Success Engineer, you will play a central role in evolving our engineering capability, practices and processes, technical capability, and more across both New Zealand and Australian markets.
